Christopher Palmieri

Chief Executive Officer

 
As President and Chief Executive Officer of Commonwealth Care Alliance  (CCA), Chris views healthcare innovation through the lens of both entrepreneurial vision and proven pragmatism.

​

Chris has advised a variety of private equity investors about innovative applications of healthcare technology. He served as CEO of Remedy Partners, a national bundled payment company in Darien, Connecticut, which secured $50 million Series C financing with Bain Capital Ventures. Chris also served as President and CEO of Visiting Nurse Service of New York Choice Health Plans, successfully transforming the organization into a $2 billion safety-net insurance company offering both Medicare Advantage and New York State Medicaid Managed Care products.

Chris is currently Chair of the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) and Chair of the National Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) Association. He is also currently Chair of the Board of LifePod and serves as the independent director and Chair of the Board of Healthify.

Don Stiffler

Chief Corporate Development Officer

 

Don has vast experience developing new market strategies and new product initiatives through value-based contracting and shared savings arrangements. He seeks to draw upon his healthcare experience and rigorous executive perspective in order to foster scalability and innovations for Winter Street Ventures.

Don brings nearly 30 years of healthcare experience to the leadership team. He served as the National Vice President for Business Development at Optum/UnitedHealth Group, where he oversaw all business and network operations for the Complex Care Management Division. Prior to this role, Don served as the company’s Vice President of Business Development for Eastern US, where he led 36 markets and held other business development and strategy positions. Before his time at Optum/UnitedHealth Group, Don served as the Vice President of Network Operations at the Community Behavioral Healthcare Network of Pennsylvania.
